Clark Kent has Lois Lane, Peter Parker has Mary Jane Watson, even the Hulk has Betty Ross. Batman however has never had it so easy, sure Bruce Wayne has casually flirted with the likes of Vikki Vale, Selina Kyle and Talia Al Ghul but he has never quite had a clear cut love interest.
Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT trilogy introduced the character of Rachel Dawes played by both Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal however her and Bruce’s love was very short lived. It seems only fair then, that Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne will be getting a new love interest in the MAN OF STEEL sequel. Although it is currently unknown whether the character will be from the comics or not, Warner Bros. has sent out a casting call to talent agencies.
Here’s what Latino Review say the WB are looking for:
‘They’re looking for someone in their late 20s and are open to all ethnicities. So not only does the 42 year old Goddamn Batman like em at least a decade younger, but playboy Bruce Wayne doesn’t discriminate either.
But wait there is more. They’re not only looking for a good actress (like duh), but they’re being very specific and looking for an actress who is both tall and possesses physicality’.
