It’s been a casting process that has kept the tongues waggling for a while, but it looks like David Fincher’s latest project GONE GIRL has its cast officially in place.
Back in July we revealed that Rosamund Pike had signed up for the title role, but a few roles were still being decided. Now we can reveal that Tyler Perry’s deal is officially closed, and he will be playing the role of Tanner Bolt, the attorney who reps Ben Affleck’s character after his wife disappears. Also joining the cast will be Kim Dickens, Carrie Coon and ALMOST FAMOUS star Patrick Fugit.
But one deal that has not been finalised yet is HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER star Neil Patrick Harris, who is almost set to play Desi Collins, the wife’s former boyfriend.
GONE GIRL, an adaptation of the novel by Gillian Flynn, tells the story of a lady who disappears on the day of her wedding anniversary, with her husband being pinpointed as the killer.
So now the casting is officially in place, what do you think?
