Science-fiction adaptation ENDER’S GAME looks to be one of the bigger films this autumn, and after a fairly aggressive advertising campaign, we’re now in the final stages of hype. Here’s the latest poster which seems awfully familiar. It’s no surprise that movie posters have become generic compositions rather than the artistic treats we had in the past, but this looks like a real copy and paste job of IRON MAN. Three medium size portraits, a large head, a female with hands on hips, and things rocketing into the sky. It’s all there. Add to that the preposterous tagline that hardly joins well with the title “It’s no game. ENDER’S GAME”. So which is it to be? A game or not a game? That is the question.
Hopefully the final film will do the book justice. ENDER’S GAME follows an elite military operation that trains children from a young age in order to take on an alien threat.
ENDER’S GAME is released 25th October in the UK and 1st November in the US. It stars Asa Butterfield, Abigail Breslin, Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Hailee Steinfeld, Viola Davis, and Nonso Anozie.
