BAD TEACHER trio Jason Segel, Cameron Diaz and director Jake Kasdan will soon reunite for Sony Pictures raunchy R-rated comedy SEX TAPE, from a screenplay by Kate Angelo and rewritten by Kasdan, Segal and Nicholas Stoller. The film follows a bored, suburban married couple who find themselves with a rare night without the kids or work commitments. In an effort to spice up their love life they decide to record their night of passion and kinky exploits. As expected, things don’t go according to plan.
Already included in the supporting cast in Jack Black, Rob Lowe, Rob Cordry and now we have news of a naturally comedic beauty joining the cast. BRIDESMAIDS and The Office‘s adorable Ellie Kemper has jumped onboard in as-yet-unspecified role. Also, more details of the plot have surfaced confirming the parental victims’ unlucky predicament. Rather than just having their video/DVD stolen, they’ll find modern technology will play a part when they accidentally sync to a handful of other devices including those of Diaz’s mother and even the mailman! Embarking on a frantic chase to retrieve and remove them.
SEX TAPE is slated for US cinemas 2nd July and the UK 1st August 2014.
