The 2011 Internationale FilmFestSpiele Berlin, or Berlin International Film Festival kicked off in Germany last night. Our man Paul Koren is currently in town speeding between screenings for the next few days and sharing his thoughts and opinions with THN readers as the fest goes on. I meanwhile am sat in front of my PC in England, reporting the news from the fest and posting Mr. Koren’s said reviews (read his first for Tomboy here).
Here’s a bunch of images from the opening night gala screening of True Grit, the Coen brothers film that debuted nationwide today. The two writer/ directors, the cast of the film hit the red carpet in Berlin last night to officially launch the 2011 festival.
