Exciting New Stills From ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’

Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence soon returns to her signature blockbusting role as bow-carrying heroine Katniss Everdeen. Her District 12 tribute who, alongside Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta Mellark, are not yet out of the woods regarding their terrifying fight for survival. We’ve brand new stills from the sequel to Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel series and with THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART’s 1 and 2 currently filming, they have a way to go before putting their feet up!

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
