The first set stills have surfaced of Oscar-winner Colin Firth and newcomer Taron Egerton in Matthew Vaughn’s big-screen adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comic book, THE SECRET SERVICE. Firth plays British Secret Service spy, ‘Uncle Jack’, as he begins to mentor his young wayward relative Gary as his protege as a top government operative. Michael Caine also officially onboard, while Samuel L. Jackson takes to chief villain role.

A number of familiar faces such as Elton John, David Beckham, Lady Gaga and Adele are rumoured for cameos as themselves. Pop princess Taylor Swift is expected to feature as an ass-kicking femme fatale. Vaughn has adapted the screenplay alongside frequent collaborator Jane Goldman with the film slated for cinemas November 2014.
