Tyler Perry continues to live up to his SOUTH PARK stigmatisation with the upcoming A MADEA CHRISTMAS. This time he’s writing, directing and producing the feature that is in no way a cheap shot out to exploit a beloved religious holiday for all that its worth. Here’s the official synopsis from Lions Gate:
Madea gets coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas, but the biggest surprise is what they’ll find when they arrive. As the small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Carnival, new secrets are revealed and old relationships are tested while Madea dishes her own brand of Christmas Spirit to all.
Other once successful(ish) actors like Chad Michael Murray and Tika Sumpter are clinging on for the ride, but its doubtful that this Christmas caper will unbury their careers. A MADEA CHRISTMAS is set for release on December 13th, check out the new posters below.
