The official poster has been revealed for director Adrian Garcia Bogliano’s horror HERE COMES THE DEVIL, which has already been receiving some great reviews at its festival screenings (it won every horror award at the 2012 Fantastic Fest). The film is about two children who disappear into some caves while on holiday and reappear the next morning… but there is something different about them. The film is inspired by early 1970s cinema and its themes of sexual abuse and Devil worship will no doubt cause some controversy. For everyone who are not offended however, the film looks to be a very intriguing piece of filmmaking and definitely one all horror fans should check out.
The poster below perfectly encapsulates the film’s tone with its black and red contrast. Additionally, it is an accepted fact that including a multitude of demon hands on a film’s poster significantly contributes to its overall success (citation needed).
HERE COMES THE DEVIL stars Francisco Barreiro and Laura Caro and is produced by Dark Sky Films. Magnet Releasing is distributing the film through VOD and a limited theatrical run on 13th December.
