UK fans of Marvel Studios productions have certainly been treated over the past year and a half with both THE AVENGERS and IRON MAN 3 receiving release dates a week before the US and a number of other international territories. This will again be the case with the upcoming THOR: THE DARK WORLD which will be released in the UK on 30th October whereas the US won’t receive the film until 8th November.
Den of Geek is now reporting that Disney may decide to repeat this structure for the 2014 release of CAPTAIN AMERICA: WINTER SOLDIER, which should please fans this side of the pond immensely. The film will take place after the events of last year’s THE AVENGERS and follow Steve Rogers on his next adventure with S.H.I.E.L.D. that will pit him against his former ally (now known as the Winter Soldier). CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie.
