We’re not ones to dwell on trouble behind-the-scenes of any film, as I’m sure it happens all the time, but battles on Marvel’s upcoming THOR: THE DARK WORLD continue to crop up. The latest being the unhappiness of director Alan Taylor regarding a post-credits sequence that he’s not at all pleased to have associated with his movie. Just one of many problems that continue to plague the project right up to release. Still, it’s not going to affect that box-office as the second film in Marvel’s Phase II canon is sure to be another smash hit for the foolproof studio.
Also continuing is the promo material and this brand new featurette shines the spotlight on Chris Hemsworth’s title character and his Earth-based beauty Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman.
THOR: THE DARK WORLD co-stars Stellan Skarsgaard, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Tadanobu Asano, Jamie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins. It’s released in UK cinemas 30th October and the US 8th November.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
