The clueless duo of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne now have a confirmed date for their return. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their loveable roles from Bobby and Peter Farrelly’s 1994 comedy smash DUMB AND DUMBER with the sequel DUMB AND DUMBER TO set for cinemas 14th November 2014. A full 20 years after their bonkers trip to Aspen to reunite Mary Mason with her Samsonite briefcase.

The plot for the new film will see Harry and Lloyd venture on another road trip when Harry learns he’d amazingly fathered a child. The Farrelly brothers are also back behind the camera for the film co-starring Rachel Melvin, Kathleen Turner, Brady Bluhm, Laurie Holden, Steve Tom and Jennifer Lawrence.

Another confirmed sequel to land a release date is spookfest INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3. The second sequel to James Wan and Leigh Whannell’s creepy creation is sure to see the return of the haunted Lambert family following the huge success of the previous low-budget horror duo.

There are currently no plot details but expect the likes of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins and Barbara Hershey back for another journey into ‘The Further’ when the film arrives 3rd April 2015. It remains doubtful director will return to the helm after proclaiming he would like to move away from the genre. He’s currently shooting action sequel FAST & FURIOUS 7. Personally, the quick way he shoots, I believe Wan will want to complete his terror trilogy and possibly make it his last horror entry.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
