The first trailer and poster has arrived for director Philippe Caland’s intense crime-thriller REPENTANCE. The increasingly popular Anthony Mackie leads as an earnest life coach and author Thomas Carter, who finds himself the obsession of a troubled fan Angel Sanchez, played by Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker. It’s not long before this deranged devotee kidnaps his favourite writer and turns the tables of his teachings of spiritual messages of Karma – action and reaction – for his family and their past sins.
REPENTANCE also stars Mike Epps, Sanaa Lathan, Nicole Ari Parker and hit US cinemas from the 28th February 2014. No date as yet for the UK.
