According to Variety, John Malkovich has replaced John C. Reilly in the adaptation of the WildStorm/DC comicbook RED. The flick is set up at Summit Entertainment.
Malkovich will join the likes of Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis on the project, which is produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian. Robert Schwentke’s is directing the script by brothers Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber.
Shooting is commencing in Toronto and Louisiana this month. The film has a November 19th, 2010 release date set.
