Found Footage ‘Frost’ With Chilling Trailer

I’m sure I’ve used that chilling pun already with the upcoming release of FREEZER, but I don’t care. It seems that with the US currently experiencing some of its coldest weather in 20 years, cold films are all the rage. FROST isn’t a solo story where Nixon’s been dropped, and nor is it a spin-off from Disney’s FROZEN. It also has nothing to do with this week’s release of THE FROZEN GROUND. Instead, it’s a found footage horror. The trailer doesn’t tend to give anything away, just lots of shaky cam, shouting, and loud music. It also seems to try and hide the fact this is an Icelandic film, unlike the previous trailer which contained a lot of dialogue.

I love found footage, and seeing other countries get involved is always a bonus. The trailer just doesn’t give anything to go on, making it hard to judge as to whether this will be worth a watch or not.

FROST is set for release on DVD in the UK on 19th February 2014.
