Say it isn’t so. We’ve only just got over the last one. Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker has been speaking about what demand or need there is for another SEX AND THE CITY movie.
Speaking to this month’s In Style, Parker said:
“A part of me thinks there is one last chapter to tell.”
“But timing is a peculiar thing. It isn’t a decision that can wait forever. I don’t want to have to wear muumuus!”
I have no idea was a muumuus is, but let’s take a look at the figures. SEX AND THE CITY, the first movie, collected $415 million from a $65 million budget while the second film, SEX AND THE CITY 2, released in 2010, made $288 million from a $100 million budget.
Both movies were panned by critics, including our own, but I think the numbers speak for themselves. However, we’ve spoken about this before.
