Luke Evans, who has appeared in movies like CLASH OF THE TITANS and TAMARA DREWE has been cast in THE AMATEUR AMERICAN, a new film (an action one) from FilmNation Entertainment and Likely Story.
The production houses decribe the film as an action thriller about a young American living in Paris who accepts a job working for a shadowy employer and soon finds himself framed for murder and caught up in a deadly game of espionage, blackmail, and deceit.
The flick will be written and directed by Ross Katz, and will shoot in Europe in September.
Evans will next be seen in THE RAVEN opposite John Cusack.
