New UK Trailer For Metrodome’s Indie Horror ‘The Borderlands’

The found-footage style is a definite tempestuous talking point between critics and the public alike with some backing the style and others often dismissing it before they’ve seen the results. We’ve all got the BLAIR WITCH PROJECT to blame for that argument but nevertheless it continues and horror often finds its home here.  Today, we’ve got the first UK trailer for the horrific looking THE BORDERLANDS but, I must add, I use that word because it looks truly frightening.

Set in my home county of the Westcountry, the film sees a team of Vatican investigators sent down to Devon (I saw a sign for Newton Abbot in the trailer) following reports of paranormal activity at a remote church. As the team begins to doubt its judgement, events take a darker turn, and it seems that something deeply sinister has been awakened.

This trailer is just the right length to give a feel of what’s to come but also freaky enough to scare intrigue into your bones. It opens in the UK on March 28th and check it out now:

THE BORDERLANDS is by first-time writer and director Elliot Goldner. It stars Sarah Annis, Lee Arnold, Drew Casson, Patrick Godfrey, Robin Hill, Kevin Johnson, Gordon Kennedy, Aidan McArdle and Luke Neal.
