It appears that the marketing campaign for Marvel and 20th Century Fox’ X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has finally kicked off at long last. Two teaser posters were released at the end of last summer before we received a teaser trailer in October. After that we were only granted the odd new photo here and there, but that all changed earlier this week when Fox released the long awaited second trailer for the film.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is Fox’ second most expensive production of all time following James Cameron’s AVATAR and after watching the new trailer, we can certainly tell. The film is also the most ambitious superhero project of all time with a spectacular plot that will unite two different teams of X-Men via time travel, in order to prevent a horrific post-apocalyptic future for all our favourite mutants. Today, we have a brand new poster and you can check it out below:
If this gloriously stunning new poster is any reflection of X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST’s quality, then we are definitely in for a treat. The film will be released in the UK on 22nd May and stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.
