While we still eagerly await the second trailer to Matt Reeves’ DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, 20th Century Fox have done an excellent job of keeping us excited for the upcoming sequel. 2011’s RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES did a wonderful job of rebooting a dead franchise and also re-telling the story from a different perspective that was both relevant and engaging for modern audiences.
Despite the fact that Andy Serkis’ Caeser is the only returning character from the films predecessor, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is still receiving widespread attention and is one of the most anticipated releases of 2014. Now three brand new behind the scenes images have been released to wet our appetites a little bit more before Fox release some new footage of the film. Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and director Matt Reeves (CLOVERFIELD) are all featured in the images which you can check out below:
DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will hit UK theatres on 17th July late this year and stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman Judy Greer and Kodi Smit-Mcphee.

Actually Maurice, Rocket, Koba and Cornelia are all returning from Rise too. Caesar isn’t the only one. The roles of Koba and Cornelia have been recast with Judy Greer and Toby Kebbell while Terry Notary and the lady that played Maurice are reprising their roles alongside Serkis.
