The marketing for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST has really begun to go into overload as the film approaches release in just a few weeks. The film will comprise casts from the original trilogy as well as uniting them with the cast of 2011’s X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. With so many involved in the cast, it only makes sense that we get to know some of the characters via character specific trailers, and although he’s the one we all know and love, Wolverine, as played by Hugh Jackman, is the first to be focused on.
The trailer doesn’t give us too many new details in terms of plot, or really add much at all, but if you are unfamiliar with the characters then at least it gives you a rundown of Wolverine’s powers. X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will see our adamanitiumed mutant travel back in time in order to stop a mutant holocaust at the hands of a group of large robots known as The Sentinels.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is set for release 22nd May in the UK and 23rd May in the US. It will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, and Ian McKellen.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
