He’s played a pair of twins in the brilliant David Fincher film THE SOCIAL NETWORK, and the title role in the very underrated THE LONE RANGER back last year, and now it looks like Armie Hammer is turning to psychological drama in a new film called MINE from writer/ directors Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro.
The project sees Hammer as a soldier stranded in the desert after a failed mission, forced to survive both the elements and an ongoing struggle with his own psychological state.
It sounds like another one of those movies with a very limited cast, a bit like BURIED and the Robert Redford led ALL IS LOST, which was released on DVD and Blu-Ray earlier on this week.
Hammer is on a bit of a roll at the moment, and will next be seen in Guy Ritchie’s big-screen remake of THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. which is released next January.
