Arnold Schwarzenegger is eyeing two movies as a return to action movies

Let’s face it, we all can’t wait until Arnold Schwarzenegger gets his stuff in order and gets back into movies. Right? Well, the former body-builder, actor and polititician is reportedly eyeing up two projects for his big return… This morning, Variety is reporting that those movies are entitled THE LAST STAND, and THE TOMB.

THE LAST STAND is a film set to be directed by Kim Jee-woon (I SAW THE DEVIL) and sounds right up Arnie’s street…

This from ComingSoon.net: “[I]t’s kind of a combination of ‘Die Hard’ and ‘High Noon’ where (the latter) was about protecting something very important that needs to be protected, while ‘Die Hard’ is a very drawn-out, long process that almost kills someone in the process. So my film will be something that has to be very well protected and, in the process, we almost die protecting it in a way.”

That was a quote from the filmmaker himself. Anything that is in any way slightly related to DIE HARD I’m there!!!

THE TOMB sounds equally Arnie-ish, and revolves around an expert prison designer who has to escape from the very structure that he helped create. That one is to be helmed by Antoine Fuqua (TRAINING DAY).
