Liam Neeson’s much publicised cameo in THE HANGOVER: PART II has reportedly been cut from the finished movie, according to a report filed over at Variety. The scene was cut after the scene which follows it in the movie was removed altogether, prompting the need for a reshoot on Neeson’s lines. The actor, currently shooting the CLASH OF THE TITANS sequel in England, was then unavailable, so director Todd Phillips was forced to go with another actor, in the form of Nick Cassavettes.
The new scene was shot three weeks ago, and will be placed in the sequel, which opens on 25th May. The scene is infamous after Mel Gibson was originally cast in the cameo last October, prompting alleged compaints from the cast and crew following Gibson’s legal issues.
Wonder if we’ll get to see that Neeson cameo on the DVD?
