With the launch of THE HUNGER GAMES official website, what better way to celebrate than to share three new stills from THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1, the first half of the finale.
This time around, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is tasked with leading the people of District 13 into rebellion. But with little to eat, no natural light and morale lacking, will she be able to take down the Capitol by herself? Lawrence co-stars alongside Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Jeffery Wright, Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks, and the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The stills, featuring Moore, Hoffman and Wright, don’t give much away, but fans of Suzanne Collins’ novels should be pleased to see how faithful director Francis Lawrence has been to his source; from what I can see the scene is exactly how I pictured it. If these images aren’t enough then check out the interview with Moore below.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1 arrives in cinemas from 21st November 2014.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
