The folks over at ComingSoon.net are reporting that Joe Pesci has signed on the dotted line for his first movie role since THE GOOD SHEPHERD in 2006. The compact-actor will star alongside John Travolta in GOTTI: THREE GENERATIONS as Angelo Ruggiero, a caporegime (high ranking made man) of the Gambino crime family and close friend of John Gotti (Travolta).
The site reports that Lindsay Lohan is also in talks to star in the feature as Victoria Gotti, John Gotti’s daughter. the actress is not 100% signed as yet, but CS report that she was present at a New York press conference for the movie this morning.
Nick Cassavettes will direct the movie, which is told from the point of view of Gotti’s son.
