If you could contact a celebrity who has passed away, who would it be and what would you ask them? It’s a question that lots of us have probably considered before, but some go one step further and claim to have successfully managed to contact dead celebrities, recalling conversations they have had with some very famous spirits.
One of the most commonly seen deceased celebrities is of course Elvis (if you believe he’s even dead of course) with sightings of the superstar in spirit form not at all unusual. He has been seen haunting Graceland in Memphis, where he died and was buried. In fact, there is a pretty convincing video of what looks very much like the ghostly face of Elvis peering out from behind a curtain in a house he rented there in the 1960s. Check it out on YouTube and see what you think! Equally as strange is the fact that, on December 20th 1980, three years after the singer’s death, five separate people claim to have picked up a young Elvis in his army uniform and given him a lift to Graceland. If you visit the area chances are you might see a young Elvis in army uniform a few miles from Graceland, as he is often spotted here.
Elvis isn’t the only celebrity who remains in the limelight after death in more ways than one of course. There are other celebrities who have gone so far as to have conversations with people after their death, or so we are led to believe. Michael Jackson is one such mega-celebrity, with whom several psychics claim to have conversed after death. The singer’s messages to the mediums have been that is he is happier and at peace now, according to the psychics who have made contact with his spirit.
Sometimes however the messages from the spirit world are a little more worrying. Troubled celebrity Anna Nicole Smith is said to have come to a practising medium and confided in her that she was in fact murdered by her former lover. Whether this is really true or not it is of course impossible to say, but it certainly makes sense that those celebrities with ‘unfinished business’ in the world of the living would be the most likely to revisit it in order to get a message across. Elvis, Michael Jackson and Anna Nicole Smith all died before their time; they weren’t old people. For those who believe in an afterlife, it’s a commonly-held assumption that those who come back from the dead in spirit form do so because they did not have a timely or straightforward death and still have issues to deal with on earth.
Mediums, clairvoyants and psychics claim to be able to use their skills and abilities to tune into the messages given by those who have passed away, including deceased celebrities. There are lots of ways to have a medium reading, whether it’s in person, on the phone or online. But you don’t have to be a professional to possess such skills. Many people don’t even realise they’re psychic until a spirit comes to them. So, who knows, perhaps it could be you chatting to a famous ghost next time. Just be sure to let us know what they say!
