So folks, the first FIFTY SHADES OF GREY trailer comes into existence this Thursday but before we all experience another level of excitement, we’ve got a teaser to tantalize the trailer! For this one, you’re not getting much to look at bar some waiting around, the opening of a locked door and an under-table leg touch – so basically early MAD MEN and pretty obvious visual metaphors.

E.L. James’ Fifty Shades of Grey is often described as an erotic romance novel but more people have pointed out that beyond the sensual nature of things, the writing was pretty darn average. The story follows sexually inexperienced college graduate Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) as she embarks on a journey with older man and Billionaire Christian Grey (The Fall’s Jamie Dornan).

Heck, bad writing didn’t exactly hold Dan Brown did it? Regardless, it’s all done rather well for itself and Jamie Dornan is an inspired choice for the lead after Charlie Hunnam gave ‘scheduling conflicts’ as his excuse to get out.
