Anna Faris has joined the cast of the Sacha Baron Cohen comedy THE DICTATOR as the female lead. THE DICTATOR is described as “the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”
Larry Charles, who directed both the BORAT and BRUNO movies will helm this film, which also stars Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas.
Faris will play the owner of a natural foods store in New York City, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film will be released in May of next year.
