Johnny Depp and Pirates 4 helmer Rob Marshall are set to team up once again for a modern day version of THE THIN MAN.
The original film – based on the novel by Dashiell Hammet – follows Nick (William Powell) and Nora (Myrna Loy) Charles, who, along with their dog, investigate the murder and disappearance of two of their socialite friends. A Tv series based upon the book was also produced.
With Depp’s casting as the iconic character certain, the big question now is who will take the part Nora. With such a high-profile lead and director, it’s likely the part will go to a big name actress. Please God, spare us from another THE TOURIST…
