To think it was all those years ago, well 2012, that PITCH PERFECT became the surprise smash-hit for a top class cast with a unique approach, singing in the spirit of GLEE and similar but bringing with a great sense of humour and a pretty impressive narrative play – I think it had a lot to do with the awesome Anna Kendrick.
It’s great to have them back for PITCH PERFECT 2 and we saw that cast photo with a whole host returning and reuniting, plus news of newcomers and the rest of the newcomers right here. There’s not too much news on what to expect, bar the singing of course, but we’re sure it’s a whole host of feel good that follows Fat Amy and Beca through their senior year at Barden University.
PITCH PERFECT 2 is directed by Elizabeth Banks and stars the aforementioned Kendrick, plus Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp, Katey Sagal, Hailee Steinfeld, Hana Mae Lee, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Brittany Snow, and Kelley Jakle. It opens 15th May, 2015.
