Elle Fanning is in talks to join the cast of DRIVE director Nicolas Winding Refn’s planned horror film THE NEON DEMON, according to The Wrap. Fanning, who was last seen as Aurora in Disney’s MALEFICENT alongside Angelina Jolie, will lead a young female cast in the movie, Refn’s first dip into the genre following some absolutely belting action/ crime movies which have always have heaps of style, depth and substance.
“Elle Fanning is a super cool wonder woman and I look forward to going on a terrifying trip with her into ‘The Neon Demon.’” The director said of the casting news.
Not much is known about the plot, but it has been revealed that Fanning will play an aspiring model “caught in a world of beauty and demise.”
Fanning will next be seen in Jay Roach’s TRUMBO opposite Bryan Cranston.
