Skins star Kaya Scodelario is in talks to join the cast of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5, according to Deadline. The actress, who has credits in films like MOON, CLASH OF THE TITANS and last year’s THE MAZE RUNNER, will be up to play the female lead in the sequel.
The film, which has a subtitle ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales,’ will start shooting in Australia next month.
Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites are already cast in the film, which will be once again be released by Walt Disney Pictures. Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing for a summer 2017 release.
