Diana Ross is planning a four-day wedding in Hawaii for her daughter Chudney.
The legendary Supremes singer hosted her son Evan’s nuptials to Ashlee Simspon last September at her Connecticut mansion and is set to throw another extravagant multi-day wedding celebration for her youngest daughter Chudney and her partner Josh Faulkner next month.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper’s Confidenti@l column: “Diana is going all-out and doing a four-day bash. It’s one of those weddings where there’s activities day and night and meals planned for every single meal. Very luxurious. It’ll be a full-on food, drink and music celebration. Everything’s going to be taken care of for the guests.”
Hawaii is a special place for the betrothed couple, as the pair went there on a ‘babymoon’ before having their now two-year-old daughter Calloway Lane.
The guests are due to arrive on the first day, Thursday June 18, for a day of snorkelling, surfing and beach activities, finishing off the day with a fun karaoke party that night.
The next day, Diana will be hosting a yacht party as well as the rehearsal dinner, while the wedding itself will take place on Saturday June 20.
Chudney – who owns a bookstore and cafe, ‘Books and Cookies’ in Santa Monica – got engaged to Josh in January.
Chudney, 39, is the 71-year-old singer’s second child from her first marriage to music executive Robert Silberstein, with whom she also has daughter Tracee Joy.
As well as Chudney, Tracee and Evan, Diana has two other adult children; actress Rhonda Ross Kendrick – her child with Berry Gordy, but who was raised by Robert – and son Ross Arne, whose father is Diana’s second husband, late Norwegian billionaire shipping magnate Arne Næss, Jr, who is also Evan’s dad.
