I’ve been on the fence for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but sometimes that’s a good way to be, because it means there’s time for changing your mind and this first, real, huge trailer from San Diego Comic Con is definitely pushing me towards a more positive view.

It’s still got Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel edge, which wasn’t as bad as some people make out, because Henry Cavill is perfect for the roles of Supes but I’m more excited to get a proper look at Ben Affleck’s massive, angry Batman and we get to see a lot of action AND a great little bit of Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman – plus inklings of all the other eventual tie-in characters.

My first reaction was that the pick-out lines and quotes sounded a little like they’d been taken from Christopher Nolan‘s Batverse but that’s probably a given due to David S. Goyer‘s involvement with writing alongside Argo’s Chris Terrio.

There’s a lot going on here and if it’s nothing less than a 3-hour movie, I’d be surprised. I see bits of the Joker, Aquaman, Lex Luthor, General Zod…and that’s just on a quick first look – What did you see and are you up for this one? Let us know below or over on THN’s Twitter!
