It’s very difficult not to love This Is The End, Neighbors (aka Bad Neighbours) and even last year’s The Interview to some degree, and from the people that brought you those three movies comes holiday flick The Night Before.

The Christmas comedy stars Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Anthony Mackie and is directed by Rogen and Levitt’s 50/50 helmer Jonathan Levine. I love the look of this and it has been years since we’ve had a great festive comedy. There’s some great support in this film from the likes of Mindy Kaling, Lizzy Kaplan, Jillian Bell and even Kanye West.
Here’s the synopsis:
From Jonathan Levine, the acclaimed director of 50/50, comes the new comedy The Night Before. Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen) and Chris (Anthony Mackie) have been friends since childhood, and for a decade, their yearly Christmas Eve reunion has been an annual night of debauchery and hilarity. Now that they’re entering adulthood, the tradition is coming to an end, and to make it as memorable as possible, they set out to find the Nutcracka Ball – the Holy Grail of Christmas parties.
The film comes to US cinemas from November 25, and UK cinemas on 11th December (or as we refer to that date, the week before Star Wars).
