Tarantino’s original cast wish list for Pulp Fiction is interesting

pulpfiction

The mighty Internet has managed to get its mitts on a rather rare piece of movie history; the original cast wish list that Quentin Tarantino wanted for Pulp Fiction.

This originated from the web image sharing website Imgur, and shows that Tarantino had some original choices that would have made a very different movie.

Take a look at this:

There seems to have been quite a long list of wants for the part of Vincent, which the above image states that was a role very much written for Michael Madsen with John Travolta a strong, strong, strong second choice. Gary Oldman, who played the role of Drexl in the Tarantino scripted, and Tony Scott-directed True Romance, was wanted for the role, as well as Lance, which was played by Eric Stoltz in the final movie, and Pumpkin, the part that eventually went to Tim Roth.

We obviously cannot guarantee the authenticity of this, but if it is real, it’s a great piece of Hollywood history.
