Wonder Woman to join G.I. Joe

Just weeks after it was announced that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was to join the cast of the G.I. JOE sequel, Deadline have reported that Adrianne Palicki is also on board. The untitled production is set to be directed by Jon M. Chu (STEP UP 3D), and follows 2009’s disappointing G.I. JOE, the latest film to be based on an 80s’ toy line.

Palicki is known for the television series FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, but recently featured as Wonder Woman in a doomed TV pilot. According to Deadline Palicki will play Joe member Lady Jaye. The film is set for release summer 2012 and will also feature Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and RZA.
