Texas Chainsaw 3D set for 2012

The latest incarnation of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE has been butchers pencilled in for an October 2012 release. The movie will be the second reboot of the notorious franchise in the last decade. Cynics might suggest that this new-fangled 3D has been the catalyst for yet another TEXAS CHAINSAW movie.

This news comes courtesy of Total Film, but plot details are still unconfirmed. Word is that this revival in seminal horror films will continue with the release of HALLOWEEN 3D shortly after. So what can we expect from the new TEXAS CHANSAW? Bieber as the legendary Leatherface perhaps? Or Russell Brand as ol’ Granpa Massacre?

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D is set to be directed by John Lussenhop and will hit cinemas October 2012.
