Adam Sandler to take role in Hotel Transylvania

Sony Pictures have just announced that unfunny man Adam Sandler will voice the part of Dracula in their upcoming 3D animation HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA.

The film follows the legendary Count, troubled family man and owner of the titular hotel. Although his monster guests may appear to be trouble enough (including Frankenstein’s Monster), Dracula’s real problems start when someone takes a shine to his daughter.Which all sounds bloody awful, and will no doubt be made worse by one of Sandler’s ‘hilarious’ voices.

The film will also star – surprise, surprise – Sandler minions Kevin James (PAUL BLART: MALL TWAT) and David Spade (TOMMY BOY). Sony claim that they are hoping to re-imagine our best loved monsters in ‘a way that only animation can.’

Unfortunately HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA will be released September 2012. Still, Rob Schneider has to put food on the table somehow…
