The ever-expanding cast of THE BOURNE LEGACY has bagged AMERICAN HISTORY X actor Stacy Keach. According to Variety Keach has singed on to play a role similar to Albert Finney’s in the previous films, so expect so him to carry out some dark and dirty covert shenanigans.
The film follows the popular BOURNE trilogy, based on the Robert Ludlum novels and starring Matt Damon. Damon declined to return following 2007’s THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM. Can LEGACY continue the success with Jeremy Renner in the lead role? Fortunately, previous BOURNE screenwriter Tony Gilroy will direct, and the film boasts an impressive cast that includes Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, and Joan Allen.
THE BOURNE LEGACY is set for release August 2012.
