With the (very) loosely adapted RESIDENT EVIL series already under his belt, Paul W S Anderson has taken time off from churning out another zombie mess, to turn his film-making crayons on to Alexandre Dumas’ renowned novel. Having recently completed filming on THE THREE MUSKETEERS, new pictures from the film have been released that show some interesting choices in hair pieces and face fuzz.
Not only does Ray Stevenson look more like an innkeeper than a musketeer, it seems the rest of the cast might well have had a good rummage through Nicholas Cage’s career wig drawer. Also, Take That recently announced that they have written and recorded a theme song for the film.
THE THREE MUSKETEERS is due out in 3D on 21st October 2011. Paul W S Anderson (DEATH RACE) directs from a screenplay written by Alex Litvak (PREDATORS) and Andrew Davies (BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY 1 & 2).
