Walton Goggins, the fine actor from the TV series THE SHIELD and this week’s big opener COWBOYS & ALIENS, has joined the cast of G.I. JOE 2: RETALIATION, according to a report in today’s Variety.

Paramount’s “G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation” has just enlisted Walton Goggins, adding the Emmy-nominated “Justified” star to its rebooted cast.
Goggins will play Warden Nigel James in the movie, which also has the bulk of Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnsonm Adrianne Palicki and possibly Bruce Willis amongst the cast.
