One of the biggest gripes with SUPERMAN RETURNS was the unfortunate miscasting of Kate Bosworth in the role of Kal-El’s main squeeze, Lois Lane. But Amy Adams should prove to be a vast improvement, as she has demonstrated her worth in a range of films, from lightweight fluff such as ENCHANTED, to easy-going drama in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, to heavier material in THE FIGHTER. THN is confident that she’s made of the right stuff to portray the sassy reporter in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot MAN OF STEEL..
Here are the first images of Adams on set in Plano, Illinois, thanks to photographer Kimber Dolan and ZomCom Productions. Though the images really give nothing away from the film, they are sure to help maintain interest for the long flight ahead.
MAN OF STEEL is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon, and Laurence Fishburne. It arrives in cinemas 14th June 2013.
