Justice League – Part One will start shooting in April

Justice League.Justice League – Part One will start shooting this April, it has been confirmed. The big superhero ensemble, which unites Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, and also Jason Mamoa, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller  as Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash, will kick off in London, England on April 11th, following the release of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice on March 25th.

Entertainment Weekly grabbed the scoop, and spoke to the film’s director Zack Snyder.

“The idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing,” Snyder said. “It was a little bit of an ‘about time’ moment, and I don’t blame [the studio] for feeling that way, because it’s a long time coming, but I do feel like it’s a little bit of a creative hurdle. It seems like an easy thing to do at first glance, the idea that, ‘Oh, we just get the rest of the superheroes in there.’ But you have to [establish] a world where they can exist.”

Snyder also revealed a new image from Leavesden Studios just outside the capital, where pre-production is taking place. If you look closely, behind Snyder and Jason Momoa, you’ll be able to make out The Flash and Aquaman costumes.
