We had our first look at Timur Bekmambetov‘s Ben Hur earlier in the week, and now Paramount Pictures have given us our first trailer and poster for the film, which arrives this summer.
The film is an adaptation of Lew Wallace’s 1880 novel “Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ”, and will actually be the third time the story has been brought to the screen. The most famous adaptation is the 1959 epic that starred Charlton Heston, and this one looks just as epic. Morgan Freeman also appears in the film, as does Toby Kebbell, Rodrigo Santoro, Nazanin Boniadi, and Pilou Asbæk. Jack Huston plays the title character.
