Filming has officially wrapped on xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage and its star, Vin Diesel, is heading off to shoot the eighth Fast and Furious movie. Diesel posted an image of him on a dirt bike underwater on Instagram late yesterday, confirming the end of principal photography.
The film revolves around Xander Cage (Diesel), who is left for dead after an incident, though he secretly returns to action for a new, tough assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson).
Diesel added the following caption to his post.
That’s a wrap for XxX… Proud of the cast and crew for making magic. Xander.
Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Toni Colette, Tony Jaa, Rory McCann and Deepika Padukone also star in the third film in the action series, which will be released in 2017. D.J. Caruso directs.
