Bloodline season 3 ordered by Netflix
Netflix have ordered a Bloodline season 3. The original series, which had its second season debut on the streaming service at the end of May, was created by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler, and has seen huge critical acclaim pretty much across the board.
The cast is led by Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Norbert Leo Butz and the story revolves around a the demons lurking beneath the surface of a contemporary American family in Florida.
‘The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community, but their past contains dark secrets that they hope remain buried. Paranoia and mistrust build as lies pile up, alliances are shattered, and an unthinkable crime takes place. The tight-knit family’s formerly harmonious relationship deteriorates, and good people are forced to consider doing very bad things.’
“Todd, Daniel, and Glenn have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix.
Bloodline is Emmy, Golden Globe, and WGA nominated, and Bloodline season 3 looks set to debut on Netflix in the spring of 2017, which is great news for fans, a community which we count ourselves amongst. It really is slow-burning, though utterly compulsive viewing.
We imagine that shooting will start towards the end of the year so that things are ready for a May, 2017 debut with every single episode being released to Netflix for your binge watching pleasure all at the same time. Seasons one and two of Bloodline are now available to stream in 4k.
