Just a couple of weeks following the official teaser trailer, Paramount Pictures have released The Arrival full trailer. Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker lead the sci-fi drama, which arrives in November.
Denis Villeneuve directs this epic movie, which will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Italy later this month. The film will also screen at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Here’s the story.
When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
The Arrival is written by Eric Heisserer, based on the short story “Story of Your Life” by author Ted Chiang. This sci-fi drama will also star Michael Stuhlbarg as Agent Halpern, Tzi Ma as General Shang and Mark O’Brien as Captain Marks.
The film will be released in the UK on November 11th in the UK.
