Watch an exclusive clip from Norwegian disaster movie ‘The Wave’

The Wave review

One of our favourite movies at last year’s London Film Festival was the awesome The Wave. The film is out now to buy on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital Download and we suggest that you tryu and catch it at your earliest opportunity.

The Wave pulls no punches as it destroys a picturesque Norwegian town with a 300 foot tsunami. In the vein of classic disaster movies, The Wave pits an ordinary man against the fury of nature as he tries to save and reunite his family, resulting in frame after frame of edge-of-your-seat action.

You can catch our original review of the movie over here. Here’s a snippet:

We were surprised by The Wave. A really solid ride that will grip you throughout. Already a hit in its homeland, we hope that the rest of the world gets to see this really accomplished, exciting piece of work, and that Hollywood calls upon this supremely talented filmmaker in Roar Uthaug, who I would love to see do something with some money in his pocket.

The ultimate thrill ride that will have you on the edge of your seat throughout. Exhilarating, engrossing, impressive high-octane filmmaking, with a proper and realistic story at its heart.
